This has been my latest work, created during our lockdown weeks. This piece was inspired by the great spells of sunshine and temperatures above normal for this time of the year, warmly welcome during these out of the ordinary times and a reminder of the power of nature and uplifting sun.

The work is a celebration of the beauty of nature,  the colours of flora and the sweet sound of birds tweeting outside my window, replacing the continuous car engine sounds of usual times, but these are not usual times and the persuasive call of nature is enticing me to break away from the city life I have lived all my adult life.

I have selected this as one of the paintings to offer in the special purchase selection, as I feel it would bring joy to someone’s home or workplace.
