My name is Julio César Osorio, and I work under the artist name JulioCésartist.

This is the online destination for art lovers seeking to embark on a captivating journey through my different styles of painting. As a life-taught painter, I discovered my talent during one of the darkest phases of my life in 2012 and you can read my story in Press.

At this pivotal stage in my career, I’ve earned numerous accolades for my innovative abstract technique as well as for my Golden Years portrait series. These recognitions come after years of exploring diverse styles, a reflection of my journey shaped by my Colombian roots and four decades in the UK. My art expresses the duality of my two nationalities, cultures, and life experiences, resisting being confined to a single style.

Most recently, I’m happy to announce that I’ve been selected to exhibit in ‘Vibrant Echoes: Art In Motion’, at the accredited ‘Royal Artistic Circle Museum’ in September 2025, in Barcelona, Spain. My work will feature alongside several established international artists, marking yet another milestone in my flourishing career
