"Unknown love" is a deeply personal acrylic painting that embodies the emotional turmoil, isolation, and lack of stability experienced in times of confinement. Created in 2012, this was my second painting after being detained, reflecting the sad reality of uncertainty and the absence of real connections during that period.
The faceless female figure, dressed in an elegant yet windswept red gown, walks alone on an endless ocean, symbolizing the struggle against the unknown future and the fragile nature of identity when placed in an uncontrollable situation. The intense contrast between the deep blue sea and the flowing red fabric evokes feelings of both strength and vulnerability, highlighting the paradox of survival in solitude.
This poignant and introspective artwork is an essential piece for collectors of psychological realism, outsider art, and expressive contemporary paintings that speak to the depths of human experience.
